Summary:
This position is a ‘hands on’ Technical Presales role and as such the successful candidate is expected to be able to assist with Proof of Concept and Presales Engagements where in depth knowledge of technologies is required. You should be comfortable liaising with senior client personnel and be able to offer advice and guidance on all elements of the client’s infrastructure. You will also be required to provide a high level of technical support and advice to the rest of the business.
Mandatory Key Skills and Experience:
- Cisco knowledge (CCNA minimum)
- Avaya experience 6+ years with ACE/ACSA equivalent accreditations
- ‘See beyond’ manufacturer documentation and liaise at tier 3 level and above when troubleshooting
Advantageous Key Skills and Experience:
High level of technical knowledge across all Avaya’s portfolio of products and other telephony and IT products (Microsoft Operating systems and applications, Linux, SBC’s, SIP concepts, Wireless protocols & Unix. etc)
